Visual schedules can help!
If every morning is a fight and a nag to get each task done, visual schedules can make the difference. Children with Sensory Processing Disorder can especially benefit from a consistent, visible routine.
Here are a set of free printables. These cards contain fun and bold images. Print them out, stick them to a large piece of card or add magnetic tape or Velcro to the back to make them removable. Your child may enjoy 'posting' them into a box or envelope as each task is completed. Add your own specific Sensory Diet activities onto cards to add to your morning routine too.
