10 Days to Conquer a Cartwheel


Ok so here is another 10 Day challenge, this time the cartwheel. Doing a cartwheel is tough.  It requires coordination, balance, core muscle strength and flexibility. Again, just like the somersault, kids have to be comfortable with the feeling of going upside down, using information from their vestibular system, the system that processes movement and gravity. 

These 10 day exercises break this skill up into it's components in a fun way, and will have your child doing downward dogs, donkey kicks, lunges, wheelbarrow walks, splits and inchworms to nail this skill.
